Welcome back, Nighthawks! January brings with it lots of excitement and turning points for our school.
Perhaps we'll even see some snow...
We get ready to go into our new building on Jan. 28. Before that, we'll be getting ready for exams, studying archetypes in the Cinderella story (among other things) and packing up our belongings and moving into our brand new home.

All students go to the new high school. Buses will drop students at the new building that day.
Students should schedule their book report time with me. All reports are due by the 18. (beginning of exams). No late reports will be accepted. Thurs., Jan. 4
Daybook entry -- Students will need a black and white composition book which they will bring to class each day for writing during the first 10 minutes of class. Please purchase a composition book by Monday, Jan. 7.
Complete art activity for opening of school.
Identify and evaluate messages in fairy tales by completing the manipulative activity on p. 208 and 209 in Springboards.
Fri., Jan. 5
10 minute writing in daybook.
Read a fairy tale in class and look for archetypes. SSR. Bring your book to class.
